The Islay Sessions is delighted to announce that the musicians involved in the sessions, concert and ceilidh will be running traditional music workshops as part of the event. The workshops will take place on Saturday 17th November from 10am to 2pm at Islay High School.
The instruments that will be included will depend on the registrations that we receive. The options available are fiddle, whistle, accordion, guitar, Gaelic song and step dance. Timetable
10am to 12noon – Classes on individual instruments
1pm to 2pm – Groupwork session to bring it all together
Cost
The workshop will cost £10 for adults and £3 for children.
Soup and sandwiches will be available for lunch.
